Whether you are registering a small private vessel or a charter fleet Blue Water Supplies is happy to take care of the registration of your vessel in Jersey from start to finish.

What is Involved ?

Part 1 registration proves the legal ownership of the vessel.  This means that the first job is to put together the evidence that you are the rightful owner.  Sometimes this can involve going back through several previous owners.

Secondly we need to establish that the vessel is as described.  That the identification numbers and dimensions are correct.  This normally involves a “tonnage” survey using an approved body.

Once these are in order we can commence the registration process.  We will complete the application on your behalf, and liaise directly with the registry to ensure a smooth registration process.

When the registration has been approved the vessel must be marked with the name, port of registry and the official number.  This has to be done to a certain specification and we can assist with this.

When the registration is complete, you will be issued with a blue registration book.

You will now need a ships radio licence.  We can take care of this for you on your behalf to make the whole process as painless as possible.
