Changes to Jersey’s Shipping Registration Legislation

We would like to inform you about changes to Jersey’s Shipping Legislation which will aff­ect your vessel.

The new legislation requires us to reach NEW agreements with owners and to hold information on all vessels and their owners.  We need this information as early as possible.

We have prepared documents that set out what the changes are and how they will affect individual owners, corporate owners or vessel registration agents.

For vessel owners who have existing agreements, we are offering “bolt-on” compliance agreements, to “upgrade” their existing agreement to meet the regulations, whereever possible.

We will be sending links to forms by email to our existing customers to allow you to send the required information and documents.  Please use the upload links on the forms and do not send documents by email.

Unfortunately we will be forced to terminate Representative Person agreements for any vessel which has not provided the required information and reached a new agreement by the end of May 2025.
